The Odyssey essay is due on 11/16 and must be submitted online to www.turnitin.com by 11:59 pm. (originally assigned 10/26)
The Odyssey test is 11/20.
Dialectical Journals are due 11/30 before 1st period begins. They can be turned in early. (originally assigned 10/16)
Students should be finished reading The Odyssey by 11/19.

We will study 5.4-5.6 Mon. to Wed;
Focusing on:
1. Use Medians and altitudes, Inequalities in triangles;
2. Inequalities in 2 triangles and indirect proof.
Assignments:
For 5.4, #1,2, 5-12, 14-42 (even);
For 5.5, #1,2,5,10-46(even);
For 5.6, #1-15, 16-28(even)l;
Due by Friday.
Thursday has the review of Chapter 5;
Friday has a test of Chapter 5.

Span. I will begin Chap. 4A next week. There will be a test on Wednesday over Chap. 3A & B. Various reading and written exercises will be assigned from pages 170-187.
Span. II will finish Chap. 3A next week and then begin Chap. 3B. There will be a quiz on Wednesday or Thursday over Chap. 3A. Various reading and written exercises will be assigned from pages 142 - 165.

Latin 1’s priority for the 1st half of the week is to finish all Capitulum 4 activities, then on to Cap 5.

From Ms. Heno (French):

French 1 will have a test on the near future, recent past and the verb venir on Wednesday. French 2 will review vocab and new tenses from this week.
