- Mrs. Matsu is sponsoring two summer international trips. Both trips are
currently accepting students and parents. The day you sign up locks
in the price.

December 15th will receive $200 off their program fee!

From Mr. Li and Mr. Schenke (Geometry):
- We will study Chapter 5.1-5.3 from Mon. to Wed.;
- Focusing on:
Mid-Segment Theorem, Perpendicular Bisectors and Bisectors, etc;
- Assignment:
For 5.1, #2-30(even), 38-46(even);
For 5.2, #1-9, 13-15, 16-34(even);
For 5.3, #1,1,5,8,11,14, 16-40(even).
- Thursday has a review for 5.1-5.3, and Project 2 (PSAT/SAT) Due by 12/01/09;
- Friday has a quiz for 5.1—5.3.
From Mr. Barnes (Algebra I):
- The Unit 4 Test Review was assigned today and due on Monday 11/9
- On Monday we will go over the test review and review for the test
- The Unit 4 Test is on Tuesday 11/10. It covers sections 4.1-4.6. Students
should study their test review and review their last quiz and the homework
assignment on average rates of change.
- We will start Chapter 5 on Wednesday.
From Mr. Beall (Spanish I & II):
- Span. I will continue to study Chap. 3B this week. Various written and
reading homework will be assigned.
- Span. II will take the quiz over Chap. 2B on Monday and will take the
test over Chap. 2A & 2B on Wednesday. They will begin work on Chap.
3A. Various written and reading homework will be assigned.
From Ms. Huffman (Latin):
- Latin 1 is doing the Capitulum 3 interactives Monday [and last Friday].
Vocabulary QUIZ on Tuesday, cumulative for Capitula 1-3. Anyone who has
not completed the interactives by then will need to come in during lunch
for computer access, as we will continue into Capitulum 4 activities. The
usual homework assignment for multiple reads of the chapter is in effect.
- Item, students have received a printout of the 150 most common Latin words,
which are now fair game for vocabulary quizzes – unannounced, at any
time.
From Ms. Heno (French):
- French 1 and 2 will begin their chocolate project.
- French 1 will review verbs with spelling changes and regular –er,
-ir and –re verbs.
- French 2 will review le passé-compose, passé recent and
learn the new past tenses discussed in class.
