General Info:
- School Holiday : Friday April 10th.
- We had a cancellation on the Australia & New Zealand trip

- Test over South Asia Tuesday and Wednesday
From Ms. Bullis (English I):
- Please return the parent permission form (download from SnapGrades) for
Schindler’s List by Monday 4/20
- Note Cards are due Monday 4/20
- Rough Draft of research paper is due 4/24

- We will start the lesson on “Solutions” next week. Also, be
reminded that Tuesday is Launch Day!

- We have a Diagnostic Practice for TAKS on Monday and Tuesday,
(60 Questions, independent work);
- Wednesday has a discussion for the practice;
- We have another similar Diagnostic Practice on Thursday and Friday;
- We will go over on Monday, 04/27/09.
From Mr. Barnes (Algebra I):
- Homework each night will be handouts
- Test Friday over exponents, Pythagorean Theorem, and volume/surface area/scale
factor
From Mr. Smith (Spanish I):
- Students' ODE assignment due on Monday. Buena Vista Social Club song,
Dos Gardenias, will be studied for inclusion to the final as well as the
Romani & Neruda units. We will begin to gather material needed to study
for the semester final.
From Mr. Falco (Spanish 2):
- Next week we will continue with chapter 5B. We will review the imperfect
progressive and irregular verbs in the preterite. We will also go over vocabulary
related to the chapter and reinforce this work through activities in class
and at home.
From Ms. Huffman (Latin):
- Latin 1 has finished Stage 15 and will be looking at King Cogidubnus’
next party this week.
- There are extra readings and new grammar, but the multiple choice will
need to be on Monday the 27th to stay clear of the TAKS schedule.
From Ms. Heno (French):
- French 1 is preparing an art project. French 2 is working on the fractured
fairy tale about “Les Visiteurs”.
