- The American Association of University Women (AAUW-Montgomery County Branch)
along with the Lone Star College-Montgomery Department of Natural Sciences
and Health Professions is proud to announce the 7th Annual Women in Science
Career Forum, to be held Tuesday March 2, 2010 from 7-9 pm at Lone Star
College-Montgomery (Building B, room 102). This event is free and open to
the public, and is geared toward high school and college-aged students.
This exciting program includes a 5 member panel made up of women at early
stages of their career, representing diverse areas of science who will share
their experiences and discuss their current career choices as well as hurdles
they have had to overcome along the way.
- This is a great opportunity for students in our community to meet
women who turned an interest in science into a fascinating (and sometimes
unexpected) career. Their stories are personal, funny, and inspiring.
Please plan to attend this exciting and informative event.
- No RSVP necessary. For questions, please contact Claire Gelfman at
cgelfman@lexpharma.com or 281-863-3023.
