- From Mrs. Chapman: Please make sure your student completes
the registration process for PrepHq. Each 9th grade student was given a
handout with directions for registration and the benefits of the program
on Monday. PrepHq allows the counselors to communicate via email with students
and parents regarding college, community service, scholarships, etc. Students
were also given a handout for completing the interest inventories for the
Kuder College and Career Planning system. In order to complete the Kuder
system, students must first register in PrepHq in order to receive the required
codes to complete the interest inventories. Codes will be emailed on Tuesday
afternoon. It is imperative that every 9th grade student register for PrepHq
and failure to do so may limit the information they receive from the college
center. The Kuder system is located at www.tbecachievetexas.com
and while the inventories are not mandatory, they are extremely beneficial
to students and parents for planning for the future.
