General Info:
- Early Dismissal on Wednesday, March 31st. Dismissal is at 1:30pm.
- No school on Friday, April 2nd.
- Mrs. Matsu is sponsoring two summer international trips. Both
trips are currently accepting students and parents. The day you sign

Ms. Harris
- Mon 3/29: Students will need to have their 10 MLA source cards.
This will be a homework grade. Please make sure your students are working
on them this weekend. They have been encouraged to visit Purdue OWL for
help with citations.
- Students will continue working in the library on their research paper.
The research paper’s guidelines are posted on the class website. PLEASE
make sure your student is conducting research/working on the paper in some
way at home, and please encourage them to come see me during lunch conferences.
This is the only way they will be successful in this paper.
- Students need to bring their copy of Slaughterhouse Five to class on Thursday
- There is a Forums page on the class website in which students can post
questions to me outside of school hours. I will check/respond to questions
from 7-8 p.m. and 8-8:30 a.m. They will need to register with the site in
order to post. They can also still email me questions/concerns they (or
you) might have.

- There is homework due Monday. It is the handout “Graphing Quadratics
HW 3” (it says it was due Friday but I pushed it back to Monday).
- Quiz on Monday, March 29 over graphing quadratics. This includes the material
from the first 2 homework assignments for this unit.
- The next test is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, April 7.
From Ms. Huffman (Latin):
- Latin 1 is in Oerberg Capitulum IX and the vocabulary quiz will be this
week. Also, there will be a quiz on noun case endings of the first 3 declensions
From Mr. Beall (Spanish I & II):
- Span. I will continue studying Chap. 8A. There will be various reading
and written homework assignments drawn from pgs. 378 - 389 during the week.
There will be a test over Chap. 7A & B on Tuesday.
- Span. II will continue studying Chap. 8B. There will be various reading
and written homework assignments drawn from pgs. 437 - 444 during the week.
There will be a quiz on Chap. 8B on Thursday, after which we will begin
Chap. 9A. On Friday we will focus exclusively on their speaking and listening
skills by way of discussing current events in the world.
