General Info:
- Have a wonderful Spring Break. Classes resume on Monday, March 22nd.
Please monitor your child’s grades via PSconnect (Gradespeed). There
are notification settings that can be personalized within the program to
alert you to low or high grades. The link to the website can be found on

- Mrs. Matsu is sponsoring two summer international trips. Both
trips are currently accepting students and parents. The day you sign
up locks in the price.

- Class should have all text read by the end of Spring Break. There is no
actual assignment during Spring Break. Enjoy your vacation but do some reading
in Geography.

- Students have received their AP study packet for Slaughterhouse-Five.
This is due April 7th and will count as a processed writing grade. It should
be completed individually.
- Students should have Slaughterhouse-Five read by April 1st.

- Upon returning from Spring Break, we will begin the research paper. Please

- Cat dihybrid and dihybrid punnett square sheets are due after spring break
- After spring break we will begin non-Mendelian traits, blood groups, and
pedigrees. Students will have various in class and outside of class exercises.
- Date for the next Test is TBA but will probably be Monday 3/29.

- We study Chapter 11.1-11.3 Mon. to Wed;
- They are about Areas of triangles and different Quadrilaterals, like Kite,
Rhombus, etc. as well as Similar figures;
- Assignments are:
11.1. # 1,2,5-7,9-11,14-17,20-28(even),35;
11.2. #1-6, 8-11,14-30(even),33;
11.3. #1-4,6-8,10-22,24-32(even)25;
* The Review for 11.1-11.3 is on Thursday, and;
* Friday has a quiz for 11.1-11.3.
From Mr. Barnes (Algebra I):
- No Algebra 1 homework over spring break
- The first unit after spring break will be graphing quadratics (chapter
10)

From Mr. Beall (Spanish I & II):
- Span. I will resume Chap. 7B upon their return. Various written and reading
work will be assigned from pgs. 356 - 366. There will be a quiz over Chap.
7B on Thursday, after which they will begin to study Chap. 8A. Various written
and reading work will be assigned from pgs. 372 - 381.
- Span. II will finish Chap. 8A upon their return (pgs. 419 - 410). There
will be a quiz over Chap. 8A on Tuesday, after which they will begin to
study Chap. 8B. Various written and reading work will be assigned from pgs.
424 - 436.

- French 1 will have an “Inventaire” project. French 2 will
pick a famous French person to research.
